I’m so glad you found your way to my website, and I’m curious about what brought you here. I’m sure you have an interesting story of your own, and I’d love for you to get to know a little of mine, too. My own journey has taken me through engineering, motherhood, eco-building, grief and love, and many, many travels before leading me to the place where I feel I truly belong: standing in front of a canvas, paintbrush in hand. Here are a few lines about the journey that brought me here, and the art I create:

My Artist Statement

I paint because I believe art has the power to transform a space and the people who live in it. My work is colorful, intuitive, and full of energy — born from a deep love of freedom, nature, and dreams.

Each painting begins as a dream or a dreamlike feeling. I work intuitively, letting color flow and guide me, until layer by layer something never seen before emerges on the canvas. I invite you into a world that feels both mysterious and strangely familiar — a realm of depth, wonder, and limitless possibility.

I created this store because I want my art to find its way into other people’s homes — to bring uplifting energy into their spaces and become part of their stories. Whether you're drawn to an art print or a bold original that speaks to you, or even a personalized painting along with a reading, each shall bring you wonder, beauty, and inspiration every day.

My Process

My paintings begin as fleeting images that emerge from dreams or dreamlike states—visions that arrive with a remarkable sense of clarity and emotion. I quickly sketch these impressions and record the feelings they evoke before developing them into larger compositions. Guided by intuition throughout the creative process, I build each work through multiple layers of acrylics, inks, collage elements, texture mediums, and ultimately oil paint, whose richness and depth I find unmatched. I am particularly drawn to fluid, organic effects that echo my fascination with water. Each painting evolves through a careful balance of spontaneity and refinement until every element feels fully resolved and alive.

Elodie's Bio

Elodie Lutz is a contemporary painter based in Erlangen, Germany. Born and raised in Munich to a German-American family, she has pursued painting with uncommon dedication since childhood. Alongside her artistic path, she followed studies and professional work in engineering and research, bringing a rare combination of analytical thinking and intuitive creativity to her practice. Guided by a lifelong fascination with nature, beauty, and human perception, she creates evocative works that invite viewers into immersive worlds of wonder, emotion, and possibility.

At the heart of Elodie's work lies an exploration of emotional resonance, memory, and possibility. Rather than depicting the visible world alone, her paintings seek to capture states of feeling that words often fail to describe. Rich in atmosphere and symbolism, her compositions invite viewers into contemplative spaces where intuition takes precedence over logic. Collectors often describe her paintings as emotionally immediate—works that are felt deeply before they are fully understood.

Working from a sunlit studio in Erlangen, Germany, Elodie is currently focused on developing new original collections alongside private commissions for collectors internationally. Particularly drawn to creating highly personal works in form of personalized Vision Paintings, she collaborates closely with clients to translate meaningful experiences, journey, values, and visions into unique paintings. Her three years of intense mediumship training add a unique skill to finding just the right vibe.

A passionate traveler, she continually draws inspiration from the landscapes, cultures, and atmospheres she encounters. One of her greatest adventures was, when she traveled through Europe with her young kids in a camper van for one year.

As her practice evolves, she is developing future works that integrate flowing water as a living element within her art, further expanding her exploration of movement, transformation, and immersive experience. Having completed advanced professional training through the Milan Art Institute, she continues to build a distinctive body of work that celebrates beauty, depth, and the relationship between the seen and unseen.
